"Ellul returns with the first in a series of ongoing planned EPs. Continuing his intimate stream-of-consciousness fret-play, he offers us a snapshot into his developing approach to songwriting & structure, as he sharpens his tapping, thickens his chords, and further blurs the lines between math rock, progressive rock, shoegaze/ambient soundscapes, and psychedelic jazz.

Over the past few months, his primary influences have included: Toe, Telefon Tel Aviv, Circa Survive, Minus the Bear, Pinback, Flying Lotus, Bonobo, The Bulletproof Tiger, Sly & the Family Stone, and A Tribe Called Quest. We encourage you to investigate & appreciate all these artists, if you aren't already familiar."
